“There is no time like spring, when life’s alive in everything”

Christina Rosetti

Easter Sunday, April 12, 2009, dawned to the beauty of spring showcased with tulips, daffodils, flowering shrubs and trees. Many everywhere waited for an Easter Service; listening to musical selections of Easter hymns known to all. Some were played on bell carillons, some played as preludes on a beautiful pipe organ, and some sung by choirs. What a joy we have where we live in a Country to enjoy the Freedom and Heritage that is left to us.

This administration will reflect on our heritage. The theme:  PROTECTING OUR HERITAGE FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS. The Scripture is from Psalm 127: 3 …”Children are a Heritage from the Lord”… and Psalm 16: 6 …”Yea, I have a goodly Heritage”.

The Goals reflect to the National Motto. “Past, Present, and Future.

Accepting our heritage by having respect and remembrance for the past.

Accepting our heritage to guide and strengthen the present.

Accepting our heritage by preparing for the unseen future.

I will be looking forward to visiting your chapter and State Societies and have a reunion of fellowship and friendship.

I leave you with the thought from Henry Ward Beecher. “Every tomorrow has two handles. You can take hold of tomorrow with the handle of anxiety or you can take hold of it with the handle of faith”.
