2011—2012  Goals

National  Motto:

 

Past, Present, Future

 

The MOTTO EMPHASIS for the administration’s third year is “Future”, and the OBJECT EMPHASIS is “Historic”.

 

To reflect the motto this year emphasis will be placed on the repairing, refinishing and/or replacing furnishings at The National Headquarters Building.  In addition, emphasis will be placed on the following Committees:

 

Colonial & Genealogical Record

Historic Landmarks and Memorials

 

 

 

 

Goals  For  2011—2012

 

Do Things For Others:

1. Support the National President’s Project by contributing at least $1 per member, per year

2. Support the Colonial & Genealogical Record and/or Historic Landmarks and Memorials by contributing at least $.50 per member to the project(s).

3. Contact the Colonial & Genealogical Record Chairman or National Librarian and help to preserve records by indexing them.

 

Spread The Good News About DAC:

1. Encourage the use of the NSDAC Yearbook.

2. Submit articles about State and Chapter activities to The Colonial Courier.

3. Submit DAC reports on time.

 

Increase Membership:

1. Tell others who might be interested about DAC

2. Increase membership by adding one new member and one new Golden Acorn to your chapter.

3. Arrange meeting times and places to meet the needs of members.

4. Support and promote the endeavor of our Golden Acorns by purchasing stationary and contributions.

5. Invite Members-at-Large and dropped members to join your chapter or state society.
